ETOXAZOLE 20%

Specialized for harmful mites – Long-lasting effect – Safe for crops

1. Product Introduction

ETOXAZOLE is a next-generation miticide targeting red and yellow mites, imported and developed by Thuận Thành Phát with a proprietary additive formula for strong adhesion, rapid absorption, and long-lasting efficacy.

By inhibiting chitin formation, Etoxazole effectively eliminates eggs, larvae, and pupae, preventing outbreaks of harmful mites from the source.

2. Usage Instructions

Crop Target Pest Timing of Application Technical Notes
Fruit trees (orange, tangerine, mango, lemon, longan…) Red mites, yellow mites When mites appear on 2–3 leaves per branch Water volume: 600–800 L/ha. Spray thoroughly on leaf undersides.
Vegetables (cucumber, tomato, chili, bean…) Red mites, thrips When density reaches 5–7 pests per leaf Spray in cool conditions, avoid strong sunlight.
Industrial crops (tea, coffee, pepper, cashew…) Red mites, white mites When mites first appear Spray evenly on canopy, rotate with other pesticides to prevent resistance.
Ornamental plants Red mites, white mites When yellow spots or fine web appear on leaves Spray both leaf surfaces evenly; may combine with light adjuvants.
  • Pre-harvest interval: 7 days

  • Number of applications per season: 2–3 times, 7–10 days apart

3. Technical Information

  • Active Ingredient: Etoxazole 100g/L (or 200g/L depending on formulation)

  • Molecular Formula: C₂₁H₂₃ClN₂O₂

  • Toxicity Class: WHO III

  • Formulation: SC (Concentrated Suspension)

Key Features:

  • Unique chitin inhibition mechanism – kills mite eggs & larvae

  • Long-lasting efficacy up to 14 days

  • Safe for plants – does not burn leaves or affect flowers/fruits

  • Selective action – safe for beneficial organisms

4. Uses

ETOXAZOLE specifically controls red mites, yellow mites, spider mites, white mites, and thrips on most crops.

The product does not immediately kill adult mites but blocks their reproduction, breaking the pest lifecycle, reducing population rapidly, and preventing re-infestation.

After uniform spraying, mites die gradually within 1–2 days and show significant reduction after 3–5 days.

5. Mode of Action

Etoxazole inhibits chitin synthesis, preventing eggs and larvae from developing properly.

→ Mites cannot molt, lay eggs, or reproduce → population naturally declines.

6. Key Advantages

  • Long-lasting effect – stable 10–14 days

  • No leaf burn – safe for flowers and fruits

  • Breaks mite lifecycle – prevents re-infestation

  • Safe for beneficial organisms and the ecosystem
